How can Bo develop offensively if he is the only one back-checking? I think Sven still has something to prove. Got the talent but does he have the right mentality? I want Bo to be surrounded by character, not characters... - bloatedmosquito
Vrbata plays a pretty good 200ft game; you make it sound like he's a less offensively gifted version of Kessel.
As far as character, who would you pair him with instead? |

If Bear Gee's character is as suspect as Flames fans suggest, i could understand not wanting that to rub off on Bo, i don't see that as an issue with Vrby.
I also liked his pairing with Dorsett last year based solely upon his compete level.

So, who replaces Hank as the #1 C in a couple of seasons?
Horvat already has his eye there I'm sure. Why wouldnt he. There isnt anyone better at this point. Neither he nor Sutter are 1st line material but I think Horvat has a higher offensive ceiling.
Does Benning sign a high paid vet in free agency as a stop gap?
Does he keep trying to pry players away like Reinhart(just an example) to try and fill that need?
I see a couple of top 10 picks in the future possibly... most likely because we would be relying on Horvat and Sutter as our 1 and 2... then the time it would take to develop a C out of the top 10.... could be a long time without the help of a #1 C via free agency. |

with WD as the coach the typical lines are pretty much thrown out . by which i mean you'll probably see 3 in the 13-15+ range and 1 in the 16-18 range depending on type of game ie. one with 6 pp's would see an increase in sedins. beegee, vrby, and such types minutes increasing whereas in a 6 pk game you would see sutter, hanson burrows and such have higher numbers.
so to say 2nd or 3rd line in reference to BoHo or Sutter really means nothing , its more about developing chemistry and solid pairing's that are interchangeable through out the lineup .
and Sbisa rocks!!! the next jersey i get is his just to show him he is a canuck and i got his back!!! |

Ok first hockey question.
So couple months ago gm Benning said he will not sign Hammer and Radim to a extension. So if at tdl we are in the playoff or kind of On the edge. Do you guys will be piss if Benning trade them? |
