Did you guys watch the game? We lost because the D couldn't stop a runny nose! I'm not giving up on this bunch yet. It was game 2 versus the best team in the NFL for the past 15 years.

TT had some bad throws that were high but he also had some nice plays. He didn't look EJ versus the Texans bad. He can improve and I believe he is still they best option we got.

Taylor responded at the end of the game.

He deserves another game. He made some awful throws, but made a few great ones as well

He really did. The one interception at the end of the first half wasn't a big deal. The other two were overthrows that the receivers got finger tips on. I was more upset about the sacks he was taking. He scrambled into a couple of them.

So how much did NE pay the refs off? Looks like the multi billion dollar syndicate couldn't stand little ole Buffalo beat the mighty Pats. Biggest sports con job on the fans in history, the National Football League. Wake up guys. Biggest ponzi scheme and you're all falling for it.

the pass interference call with 3 minutes left was a joke, never touched

I am not one to put the blame on the refs instead of the team but god damn this was a brutal game from the refs

taylor was fine, way too conservative play calling in the first half

The pats had 11 penalties for 119 yards and we had 14 for 140. Not exactly one sided.

I hate bad calls just like the rest of you guys. But we also took some really stupid penalties. Cant do that against the pats. They will burn ya

The league is all about money. We lost before we took the field. Don't doubt me on this. I've seen this (frank)ing sh!t for over 50 years of my life. Nothing new.

If he hits that throw just before the half we get 3 points, the man was wide open. Not saying its a game changer but when you play the Pats you can't just give points away.

And the stupid penalties we did take were away from the play, holding by the DB a couple time on the opposite site of the field to extend scoring drives are killers.

Aaron Williams personal foul on the fumble return took 3 points away

Carpenter missed an extra point, 2 missed 2 pointers

If Taylor makes 1 or 2 more plays in the first half, or our defense makes 1 or 2 this is a different game

The pass defense is predicated on getting a pass rush. Take that away and the secondary is toast...as most are.
- buffalofan19

While that is true, pass coverage is predicated on actually staying close to the receiver, turning your head to the ball, and leaning in with the body to control the receivers path to the ball.
They did very little of that.
Add to that all day to throw from lack of sustained pressure by the Dline...bamb, 455 yards.

I expected a much better performance than this, garbage time not included. If you are going to hype the living hell out of this game, the guy you trot out at the most important position on your team had better be ready to play at a high level. He was anything but today.
- buffalofan19

To your point about no pressure from the Dline...I would trot out the guys who are making $40m collectively and have like 200 starts between them before I trot out the guy making $1.5 in his second start ever.
This loss is squarely on the Defense. The Offense we knew would be hard pressed to put up 21+points...they put up 32.
Enough said about laying this loss on the QBs shoulders ... It is on the D period. 40 friggin points against and we point to the QB making his second start.
GOLLY!

We had under 50 yards passing in the 3rd quarter. This isn't solely on the defense. We had an opportunity to match them and we didn't. Taylor and the O line are just as much to blame

Not saying the O was error free...they weren't...coach gave up on the run too early.
However, when you allow 500 yards and 40 points....I don't think too many Offenses could overcome that ineptitude.
I still stand by my it is squarely on the D...especially as boastful as this bunch is.

This team is supposed to be carried by its defense. It's super-hyped, extremely well paid, "we brought in the Socrates of nfl d coaches" defense. That's the model and they failed. We need to win games where we put up 32 points.

Ha they were, but how many times was it third down when they did get called. It's always the big momentum swings that kill the bills from third down penalties

Yes, and you can't ignore Tyrod Taylor putting the defense in awful situations.

Interception on our own 30. Sacked at the 1 yard line to give them the ball I our territory.

That's 14 of NE points. You can't ignore that
