I disagree. In a grand jury proceeding he will either plead the 5th or be able to actually answer the question. Those proceedings are secret.

I still think he would have a tough time if this ever got to trial being cross examined by an aggressive prosecutor.

I am curious as to why some posters are so interested to see McDonough "squirm" ? From my perspective he has done nothing but good for the team in terms of marketing and in helping ensure the team is and remains competative.

You're hundreds of miles away. He's made plenty of people squirm back here. Good people. Loyal people. I don't mind watching him squirm at all. He obviously isn't in control with this situation, and that's what he's all about. I wanted to slap the guy when he recited the list of accomplishments in the past 6 years. Having said all that, it's not his doing that he's in this situation so I can't help feeling a little bad for him.

One thing I've noticed over the years he's been here is that when the hawks are winning you get sick of seeing him, he's everywhere.. When the hawks are on a bad streak he's nowhere to be seen. Like everyone he loves to deal with the good. Sometimes you have to deal with the bad. It comes with the territory.

Yeah, I was surprised by that as well. "Are you gonna stop drinking" was my favorite. And I think Kane should have jumped on that, suggesting he's working on it or something....

Instead we get that goofy smirk/laugh, that's why he better get this settlement done. I really can't see Cambria letting him testify in front of the Grand Jury. Too much could potentially go wrong.

Well, if he's innocent, there shouldn't be a problem... but if he did something wrong, wouldn't that only serve justice?

His performance yesterday suggest to me it would be a wise decision to not let him go before the GJ. He's not required to and definitely shouldn't.

Generally speaking most defense attorneys don't want their clients testifying at GJ proceedings. The only time they do is if they're confident their testimony can sway them, and trust that they'll not come across as arrogant or become agitated and will be able to not get rattled.

There is no real good way of getting around the Kane issue wether it was first, middle or last in the press conference. The three ring media circus came to ND looking to report misery on Kane.

Watch the local news they always start the news by reporting a crime, a shooting, a robbery…. I can't remember the last time the news started on a positive story.
