I liked him. Granted he played for us 5 or 6 years ago, but just looking at his stats he does appear to be a good option for the AHL still

Haha. 95% of PTO's are bound for the AHL or get flat out cut. They probably just need a few extra bodies for the first few days at camp, or are looking for guys to fill out the club down in Stockton.

I read nothing into this.
