Isn't that par for the course in the "Hot Stove"?

That was crazy. Part of me felt bad for Tavares, but the other part of me was smiling inside because of some of your more undesirable fans. Like Captain & Vukota

Kessel will sweep every award, including Norris, Vezina and Jack Adams. Book it.

It's par for the course with any person in sports media that makes predictions, period.

I always find it funny whenever people get bent over those in the media's opinions, because that's all it is, opinion. Bloggers are wrong often but so are those that actually get paid to give the appearance they know what they are talking about.

Seguin is the most out of the box selection and that is to be commended. But if anyone is winning a title, on Dallas, it's Benn. Seguin might be more talented but Benn is the more dependable player on Dallas.

Tavares has to be in this mix; he is the straw that stirs the drink for the Isles and they are a team that should be good afgain this season.

The Hart is probably the hardest to call. I mean its so subjective. Every team in reality has an MVP, so how do you determine which was more important to their particular team. When Crosby was injured, Pitt kept rolling. Same with Hank last year when Talbot filled in. Does that disqualify them in the future because their teams didn't miss a beat?

The most die hard of the die hard on this god forsaken site.

I prefer it when none of the pundits choose my team, or individual players on it, to have great seasons.

Nine out of ten times whatever the "pros" pick usually doesn't happen, across the board.

It's subjective, like a drunken man's last call selection of which slob he will take home that night.

Well according to Tanner he should have been winning that every year. Our defense blows.

If Kane has to go away (which I doubt) and the B'Hawks are still elite, I would say Toews. Otherwise, I think either Oven Chicken or Tavares depending on which team does better. Too many other teams have top players who cancel each other out (Getzlaf/Perry, Toews/Kane, Seguin/Benn, Datsyuk/Zetterberg, Crosby/Malkin/Kessel, etc.). But I guess Backstrom sort of cancels out Oven Chicken, so I will go with TAVARES.

The easy answer here would be Sidney Crosby, But I'm going to go off the board here and say Bruce Garrioch.

Tavares only has a monster season with a legit winger, which they have none. Okposo capped his potential. I'd love for Tavares to breakthrough into Crosby status but he needs more help.

He had more points than Crosby for the year missing Okposo for a couple of months last season.
