Reading this makes me wonder if what he was experiencing is the same type of thing as Lieuwen. He kept saying he felt fine too, but his vision was off.

Very interesting....and very sad all at the same time.

I was told some think the Hawks are in a " bad spot " so to speak, they are not. Kane's contract is high but I mentioned before, there are GM's in the league that think Kane is a top 1 or 2 player in this league if he would just pull his head out of his ass. Like I said the Sabres did call but they should be on alert as to what they want to part with for Kane.

I agree
But we do still have a TON of forward prospects
I'm not so worried about that as much as I am about which young roster player(s) they'd want

Is Reinhart untouchable?
Without him, we'd still be pretty set down the middle with ROR, Eichel & Girgensons...
And Larsson looked like he could at least be a good 3rd line center if we wanna move Girgs to wing in the top6

He's only 26 I think
So while Kane does come with baggage, he's young enough that we should at least kick the tires to see if a reasonable deal could be made

It gives Chicago a very good player a cheaper cap hit and a first. Maybe they would want a prospect not named Eichel and Reinhart.

It's a legit option in my mind. Obviously I would like to keep ROR, Eichel and Reinhart.

In any possible deal with the Hawks...
We could also take Bickell off their hands
They'd LOVE to get rid of his contract
