It very well could. Ended up picking 12 out of 12. Yuck.

In a standard draft, that's garbage. In a PPR, that's gold! 12 and 13 can get you a qb and a great wr.

I like what the young qb brings to the jags, if thomas is healthy, I expect 800 yards and 10 td's

It's a PPR. It's a team I manage with my best friend, so we went with Forte and Thomas. This is how my team ended up overall:

QB: Wilson, Newtwon
WR: D Thomas, Cooks, Bryant, Garcon, Coleman
RB: Forte, Morris, Blount, Hillman
TE: Olsen, Clay
K: Tucker
D: NE

We start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 WR/RB/TE and then your standard 1K, 1D.

Yup, that would be the one. It's a bit risky, but I figured it was worth the risk there, especially since we didn't need him right away.

Off hand I can't remember. We didn't get too hung up on who we made with what pick when it came to us, we just had a plan of what 2 guys to take since they were back to back. But I think we did Forte, Thomas, Wilson, Cooks. Though it could have been Cooks, Wilson. For the most part it was a live draft, but it was also done online so things moved quick. I didn't write things down as much and at work I can't get to the FF site to see how the draft actually played out. The App doesn't show the actual draft results either.

Back to the Franson talk (and no, he isn't taking McCabe's spot)....

I'm not shot in the arse with him either but he is fine for now. Part of me wishes that we would have ponied up for Sekera this past summer and been done on D. Sure, he got a lot. That said, we are easily under the cap for the next few years so he wouldn't really hurt for the next 4 or 5 years. At that point 5 mill a year isn't bad.

Vic Carucci has on twitter that he was released. I don't like that decision at all, but there are definitely a lot of tough roster decisions they need to make. I can't imagine it was easy for them at all.

I can see both sides of it. I don't like it, but there's a small part of me that understands it.

However, if Bryce Brown is still on this roster come opening day, I'm gonna be really pissed.

So glad Russ Brandon is the pres of the Sabres. Can't wait for random players doing awesome things to get let go.

As well liked as Jackson is, he isn't young, and is very injury prone. The reality is, when everyone is healthy, he's probably the 4th best back on this team.

He's 34 years old and is expendable sadly.

Look I am upset as a sentiment, but if that money is spent else where like at CB I understand.

I'm about 99% sure that Russ Brandon had nothing to do with this decision. He has already said the roster decisions are not his to make. That's up to Whaley and the coaching staff.
