You guys realize that this is a team sport, Luck does not have a great team around him and Taylor does. I think this game is a lot closer than most think. If Taylor does not create turnovers, this could be whichever team scores last, wins.

Also, this will be the first week that the OC (Roman) has the ability to game plan, so he could have quite a few things up his sleeves.

So might Greg Manusky. The defenses Taylor, Manuel, and Cassel have been playing against have been ultra vanilla. It works both ways.

Same could be said for a lot of us.

He way over reacts about many things he has no control over.

Can you imagine when he goes out to eat and his food is to hot what his reaction is?

I think the part that I think is an issue for the Bills in week 1 has more to do with the fact that Luck is going to eat up our secondary as it's currently constructed.

Either Darby needs to figure things out or they need to put a different guy in that spot.

At the same time, though, he had zero safety help in the preseason by design. They wanted to see what he could do on an island. They'll be able to mask at least some of those deficiencies during the regular season.

I'm not saying he's a bust by any means. That's Jr. He was freaking out after the 1st preseason game. I get that he's a rookie and there's going to be issues from time to time. It's part of growing into being a pro. My concern is that Luck is a QB that could go out there and just eat him alive.

Agreed, but I can't think of the last rookie DB to be isolated to that extreme and succeed. Hell, Trent Edwards "won" his starting job in 2007 by victimizing Darrelle Reavis.

Oh, I agree. I'm just saying that I highly doubt Darby will look as bad as he did in the preaseason simply because the gameplan won't allow him to.

Has there been any updates on Gilmore? The last I heard is it was confirmed he didn't have a concussion. Was there any other injury or was it just that?

He looked good in Week 2. Had 2 interceptions, so there's definitely reason to be patient.

I thought I read somewhere that if it was regular season, he would have played.

He will have a heart attack by 30 at his current rate.

A disconnection from the cyber world would do him some good.

You just don't understand what kind of leader he was in the locker a guy like him should be rewarded with playoffs but I think its trashy that we are on the verge of a great team and he's not going to be here I think that's why Buffalo fans are pissed off

it's up to the gm to give the fans playoffs and if younger rb's are better then a 34 year old rb, it's the gm's job to be responsible

as this team gets better, there will be more situations like this

case in point I have always liked the TE gregg, there probably is no room for him on this roster now

I don't know what 34 has to do with anything he was clearly the second best running back on a team did everyone miss the Pittsburgh run he just had?

I understand this is business but he clearly had a spot on the team

Look, I hate that this had to happen, but I understand why. But that's part of why they let him go when they did. They did it now so he could find a place somewhere else instead of waiting until the end of the preseason. I'm sure they could have cut Cierre Wood instead, but chose to give Fred the opportunity to sign with someone else now.

He's at the tail end of his career whereas the other guys are not. It's not just about right now, it's about going forward and he just didn't fit into that plan anymore.

It sucks. It really does, but it's the nature of the NFL. I'm pretty sure Fred knows exactly how the fans feel about him here in Buffalo. Relax. It's not the end of the world.

After his one-game suspension would anybody be cool with Bradshaw here I mean I can't trust Bryce Brown all he does is fumble during important games
