Gary Galley was the best D partner Bourque had as a Bruin. Sweeney was OK. Galley was better. Also he had the stones to stand up to Sinden and Monty Burns which is why he unceremoniously shipped out of town.

I almost wonder if Buffalo is trying to drive up the price of Franson, if it is between BUF and Bos.......?

BUF with a Franson signing would be an even more difficult team with the potential of leapfrogging Boston this season. Almost forcing the Bs hand if they are dead set in being a playoff team this season.

Chara - Sidenberg
Franson - Krug
Quaider - ?

Trotman is on a one way contract. Irwin......not sure if it's a one way or not. Morrow, Miller, C. Miller, and Arnesson.

Around six players on the boarder line. Wish we would pass on Franson at this point.

I'm not sure how Hal Gill makes the cut but Mark Stuart isn't even mentioned. I'd take Stuey over Gill any day.

Hey Gents,

Very unlike me but I'd like to reach out to anyone who may be able to help. Recently my 2.5 year old Valley Bulldog has torn his cruciate ligament in both of his knees and is no longer able to walk. He's a guys best friend and our surgery quote was between $6500 and $7000. After a full relocation for a new job things have been difficult enough and my wife and I have decided to reach out and see what happens.

We have started a Go Fund Me page for my dog Chibs and you can see his page and story here: http://m.gofund.me/bf32dqfw

I don't expect all to help but this is something it has come down to. I'd appreciate anything anyone can help with or even words of encouragement or sharing this with others you may know and please some positive thoughts for my little guy.

Sorry to bear everyone with this but grasping at straws here.

Thanks guys
