Was really excited when I saw flyers throwdown and saw barbells om the cover. Than realized it's basically a cross country event. Forgot our team lacks much size so we can't be one upping players.

No, but I really dont pay too much attention to time crimes and time frames. Richards was once one of my favorite players and I live in the city where Kane is from/is facing charges in. With the way Kane's been getting dropped by sponsers and events it starts to seem like he might not get away so easily.. Time will tell
- Trainfellow

Losing sponsors and event appearances, is more about reputation and PR, than whether a crime was actually committed.

So you thought that the Flyers were going to allow fans to bare-knuckle fight the players?

What did you think the barbells signified? Competitive weight lifting? You do know that most athletically-fit people use weights training, right?

Also, you keep saying the Flyers are small. Last year they were the 9th tallest team in the NHL.

General question for the fan base:

If a forward, in his overage junior season, has 45 points and 76 PIM on a first-place team, do you think he has a good shot at making an NHL roster?

I guess I missed the overage part.

But either way a first place team will get looked at more than a last place team, so yes, he has a good shot if there's a team that likes his style of play whatever that may be.

Per a recent report from TSN, sources claim police found “some pills in a single bottle” during a search, adding that “it was clearly intended for his personal use.”

There's more to this (obviously).

Uhhh. Sounds like the Kings have no leg to stand on and in my opinion they've opened themselves up to cap circumvention penalties

It depends. There are guys who score 100+ pts on a first place team and don't manage to have much of an NHL career. It really depends on your game, how you were used in the juniors and how your skills translate at the next level. You might be one hell of a PKer who can chip in some offense and play a physical game. There's a place for that on any NHL club.

Or they've opened up a way for teams to get out from under crippling contracts without taking an extended cap hit.

I'm pretty sure there won't be cap penalties above and beyond them having to somehow get under. You have to think that this wasn't done in a vacuum without NHL input. This will be a test case for sure.

It will be interesting to see how this goes.

If he doesn't make the squad out of camp it won't be because he isn't ready. For all the talk of Provorov/Sanheim I firmly believe he's the most NHL ready on the defensive side of the puck.

That's because he hasn't yet been charged, which means that he's innocent. Can you think of one case in any time recently where it took more than a few weeks to charge someone for a crime?
- jmatchett383

Does the alleged victim have to press charges? I would think Kane could always offer to pay her off if its necessary for the alleged victim to press charges.
