Why was Kessel traded?
1. Shanahan/Hunter/Dubas are totally clueless
2. Kessel is a knob to deal with
3. Kessel sucks
4. Kessel is the best guy in the room and they felt sorry for him and want him to win a cup
5. He requested a trade
Burn?
I tried to quote you but HB is working fabulous as usual - Garnie

Not with the Wii U. That's like beating on a dead horse.

What does Bozak have to do with him?
I'd rather have traded caveman and kept Phyllis myself
Bozak bang your wife or something? - and id rather have 2 Bozaks than any Jake Gardiners - but all you talk about is Bozak - he'll be gone 1st half decent offer they get would be my guess
Why was Kessel traded in your opinion? - Garnie
Because he didn't give a (frank) and didn't even try to cover the fact he didn't give a (frank) on the ice.
Not exactly something you're hoping for when giving him $8m per year |

Basically its OK to allow a run an inning because they jays will get 12!
Donaldson is leading the MVP race, and it's not even close anymore |

Trout is still having a better season I'd say. Donaldson has Batista and EE after him, tons of protection. Trout.. not so much.
Donaldson is the clear MVP2 though lol. Voters rarely vote for non playoff players too so if he doesn't win MVP that'll probably be why. |

Really?
JD - .302AVG,.370OBP%, 34HR, 100RBI, 95 Runs
Trout - .297AVG,.394OBP%, 33HR, 73RBI,80 Runs
bold indicates league leader. Trout has been average the past month and JD has been the best player in the league. I think it would be a joke if Trout wins with only OBP% as a superior stat (no, im not including his 6 extra steals). To say JD doesn't deserve to be MVP because the jays are stacked is unfair.
If a guy hits .300+, 2nd in HR, 1st in Rbi, 1st in Runs, gold glove calibre D..how does he not get it? |

Runs and RBIs are kind of like Wins and GAA in hockey, they largely rely on the team around you.
You break down the advanced stats and Trout comes out ahead offensively. The last two games have put Donaldson ahead in WAR though (takes defense and offense into account), something Trout was ahead in pretty much all season. |

Donaldson is ahead in Avg,HR,RBI (by a lot),Runs (by a lot),Slug% and WAR
Trout is ahead in OBP% and steals
I think the old school stats and advanced stats point to JD being the frontrunner at this point. I don't think you can fault him for being on a loaded jays team too much, especially when trout has one of the greatest hitters of all time hitting behind him (with 33HR to boot) |
