And I will have to agree to disagree here, on your second point. yes it's gonna suck not having the skill of kessel, and our goals for will certainly drop, not gonna argue. But you've obviously never been around a negative person for a prolonged period of time. It wears on you. He could have been rubbing off on some of the guys. I used to work in a factory with some grumpy old italian men. I became quite jaded and negative. So that where I disagree.

Obviosuly moving him is not gonna Make us all of a sudden win, who is gonna score the goals? Moving him has sent a message to the room and to change the culture as they keep preaching. Young guys coming up soon, don't need someone being a mind screw there. This team last year just quit. You are not going to see that this year.

Blaming one guy for the actions of others is so wrong. People do not become something they aren't just becaus of others. Hard workers don't become dogs because there are other dogs around and dogs won't suddenly become hard workers because the dogs are gone. It's not how it works.

I had Heaney in a baseball pool.

A 1-0 Jays win would've been preferable

Again disagree. I've seen one individual bring out the worst in people. Going through something similar at work. One VP just got demoted. He loved to see people argue, and he would be the one fueling the fire. Upper management caught on and a silent investigation went down. In the end, they got the information they needed to do the demotion. Much more peaceful now that he's gone.

With your train of thought then the whole lead by example mantra has no weight. There is also pecking order with vetrans vs rookies, top paid vs lower paid etc. You think a rookie is gonna open his trap to a pissy veteran?

You hear it all the time in hockey as so and so was a cancer in the room.

Add to be clear, I'm not sure if kesel was the only issue in that room. It was one they were able to move. You think the only reason clarkson was moved was because of his contract?

I'd also like to point out that yes its not right, agree with you there. But you say stuff like that doesn't happen and respectfully disagree, I've seen it first hand.

Also I'm not stating this as fact. (Kessel being the problem and being moved as s result). It's my opinion. You have yours. Not saying you are wrong and I'm right.

Just killing time before the season.

This example doesn't fit with this kessel situation(this situation with the vp isn't comparable with kessel). People are saying the guys that are still here are suddenly going to change and not be dogs and give an effort because kessel is gone. That because he's no longer here these guys are going to be magically different. That simply isn't how life works.

How does my train of thought have no lead by example? Where does that come from?

Before I come back to that, I was told there were "legs" to the rumors involving Jeff Skinner and Bryan Bickell. What everyone needs to consider here is that both teams are trying to move big contracts attached to players with injury issues, so the sweeteners and money going each way would be critical to the deal. I also heard this afternoon that there are still talks going on with Carolina, and they could involve a smaller deal, still involving Skinner, a top Carolina prospect, Bickell, another highly paid Hawk veteran not named Kris Versteeg, and significant cap savings for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, talks happen regularly between the Hawks and the Jets, and I am hearing there is interest in perhaps putting together a significant deal there, possibly involving Corey Crawford, Ondrej Pavelec and a top (I mean top) Jet prospect.

That makes my cat Stephen Hawking. Lately he conducted an investigation into the effects of urine on futon couches. Now I'm studying the effects of Prozac on cats.

There's still hope. Daughter is 3 in November and son is due in December.

Just don't want to get my expectations too high so I'm not completely devastated as they slowly crush my dreams year after year and eventually get old enough to take all my money and lock me up in a crooked old folks home that smells like pee and sadness.

It's true, apparently Prozac is the standard treatment for territorial inappropriate urination, which you have if your cat is a rescue who wasn't neutered soon enough. In the summer when neighbour cats wander around, I'm in the middle of a pissing contest. I'm a (frank)ing expert on the poop now.
