If this is already out there, I apologize. Haven't been on Twitter. In any case, LAK and Christian Ehrhoff have agreed to terms on 1-yr deal

Agreed. Gabby, Kopitar and Doughty will do well because the can score and play at the other end. Lines who are all Cherry Pickers are not going to be sucessful. I'm hoping this Kings will also have a advantage with Quick in net as he is a reaction type goal tender which I think will be better than big guy who just plays position. I feel like everyone is not fully contenplating the advantage of having a great goalie. Heck 3-3 can't be any worse than the shoot out was for the Kings last year.

I also think Benn / Seguin as well as Perry / Getz (as much as it pains me to say) will be very effective.

I like Doughty. He is a top 3 defense man in the NHL. He plays a full game with huge skill and game sense. Gabby and Kopitar both offer a ton of offensive skill, either would be great 3 on 3. I like Carter still for the 3 on 3. Him and Kopitar could be used together as either can take the draw which is going to be huge in either end with 3 on 3. Teams will keep conscious of things like this in case their guy gets tossed out of the circle. Lucic and Gaborik (maybe even Brown if more grit is needed) can add to options changing on the fly. There are many great teams but LA has to be a top 3 and given the edge over others from their division like SJ, PHO and even ANA. Getzlaf and Perry are most likely marginally better but Doughty makes up all the difference. Plus, 3 on 3 should take into account goal tending and I think Quick will be a top 3 tender this year.

I actually think Perry and Getz are too slow for 3 on 3. Name of the game with this is gonna be a balance of speed and defense. I like Kesler, Hagelin and Vatanen for the Ducks

1.Edmonton- With O'Connor, Hall, and Yakupov they will be tough to contain 3 on 3.
2.Pittsburgh- Crosby alone will be deadly with all of the room with 3 on 3
3.Buffalo- Go a head and Laugh but you will see.
