I think it's Cassel for now, but keep all 3.

Manuel is getting better, and Taylor is interesting

His throws last night were good, and the week before he would have went 6-8 but the two TE's dropped them.

Yes, he still had a few bad throws and dropped snaps. But we already know none of the 3 are very good.

Tyrod had 67 yards passing in a half, explain how he looked "good" while Manuel looked bad?

And in 8 games, we will see why he was a late round pick and will be talking about drafting a QB.

This Tyrod love fest is bordering on insanity

3 effin points last night. NO TD passes in about a full game in 2 weeks (Half against back ups)

He's totaled about 100 yards passing.

He's consistently done very little.

- sbroads24

Tyrod is the new shiny toy. He was good last night, but regardless of that there were 3 points on the board at half. That is just not good enough Before you tell me we had starters out, so did Cleveland. Neither of their starting CB's played last night/

Tyrod played good with out any WR or RB and vs first team defense ..

EJ looked like EJ vs 3rd stringers , insurance Sales agent ..

He should have dominated the game last night vs " bums" etc ..

it should have been the easiest game for him

Look, all anyone is saying is that Manuel is the pooptiest lollipop of the three. Tony from Cheektowaga is gonna compare him to Drew (frank)ing Brees and people are going to be Manuel apologists and whatever, but it's becoming blatantly obvious that the reason Manuel will never be good is because he's consistently inconsistent, something that's not as true for Cassel and Taylor.

Just going off statistics:

18 attempts 12 completions 114 yards 66.7 percentage sacked 1 time
10 attempts 88 yards rushing

202 total yards

22 attempts 13 completions 188 yards 59.1 percentage (1 pass counts for 51 yards ) and 1 of his 2 TD's. Sacked 4 times
4 attempts 13 yards rushing

201 total yards

When in 2 games you're only attempting to throw 18 times its too early to tell, but last night he did deliver some real quality throws.

EJ will have that stigma of what he did in the 1st preseason game. Escape pressure and badly underthrow a wide open receiver. That is his biggest hurdle. He has done that his entire career here.

Until Taylor starts doing that on the regular he will have the advantage over EJ in the fans eyes.

I did like Taylor's pocket presence yesterday. He stepped up in the pocket and made so tough throws (hitting the receiver in the numbers). He also did do it against a very good defense without any starting RB's and WR's.

If Taylor can be Russell Wilson like and lite for the other 2 preseason games and get some points on the board (he should have had 1 TD yesterday) he is the starter IMO. I would like to see him throw the ball deep, something that has been his knock against him. EJ does throw a great deep ball but he has issues with the 7-15 yard passes.

He'll always be shinier than Manuel. Because his mechanics suck less.

I hate this point. He did not have a TD and that is all that matters. That Ball was under thrown. We have no idea is any WR catches that.

It was kind of hard for EJ to get settled in When he was getting hit 2 seconds after the snap, every snap.

some people act like EJ was a 4th round pick and is Improving every game ..

a first round QB is supposed to be the franchise already on year 3

I guess our coaches, past and present, know less than we do.
Every professional source known to man can see the EJ is not projecting upwards. He's always been like this, and by the early signs of year 3, he's going to continue to play like this. Throwing some great passes, sometimes, escaping pressure, sometimes, running the ball successfully, sometimes, and making mind(frank) plays, sometimes. If you're only sometimes good, you suck. And unfortunately for the Bills, they have 3 guys that fit that description. The only difference is, Manuel sucks more often than the other two.

So you pick the one little tidbit from that entire post...got it

Any starting WR makes that adjustment and catches that ball 9 outta 10 times.

Sure EJ looked a little better than he has but he is doing it against 3rd stringers, in both preseason games and still holds the record for most passes hitting a hospitality tent.

Some people make assumptions thinking people think Taylor is the next Elway...

No sane individual thinks Taylor is the next Elway. But I would be happy if Taylor was the next Tannehill.

You can literally take out EJ's name and insert both Cassel and Tyrod, and it is the exact same thing.

I have read these exact quotes today. these are copied and pasted:

"Even Tyrods misses look pretty"

"There was also a time when an unproven guy was just a back-up for a star goalie in the NHL. The unproven guy was unorthodox and a bit awkward. That guy was Dominek Hasek. It took lots of people a while to realize he was good too."

No i did, Is Cassel any better than EJ or Taylor?

Is Taylor any better than Cassel or EJ?

Is EJ any better than Cassel or Taylor?

Teams are not game planning for these guys right now. I don't care who starts to be honest. I am just not putting Tyrod on a pedestal currently.

You will be waiting awhile, EJ will not be cut due to the dead cap it would create. Buffalo gets no cap relief from cutting him.
