Never said he was better...my point is those two are not at the next level...have simular numbers and games played who knows what they will be. Do i want a different qb? By all means if i can wave a wand and get a rivers type heck yes im all for it but its not realistic. The bills can win games with any of them with their d and running game.

The Buffalo News reports the Bills have offered contract-year NT Marcell Dareus a six-year extension worth more than $90 million.
However, Dareus is seeking more, and apparently considers the numbers an insult. Dareus told reporter Vic Carucci the offer says "they don't want me," and that he expects 2015 to be his final season in Buffalo. Due $8.06 million in the final year of his rookie deal, Dareus is digging in for a game of hardball. He undoubtedly wants to cross the $100 million threshold, something that's realistic considering his realistic play and a continually climbing salary cap.

Bridgewater td/interception ratio was 1 to 1...he also had like 12 picks in 13 or so games...thats not next level.

"they dont want me"

While its probably just posturing by both sides, i think its laughable that he interperets a contract offer on the fringe of ndomakong suh's to say 'they dont want me'

He isnt as good as suh

Yea it is sort of splitting hairs. I think he is awesome and love him as a player, but it is what it is.

He is surrounded by pro bowlers, in detroit suh was basically doing it by himself.

You said it already, he will be tagged if he doesnt want to take a hometown discount. He will get his 100mil eventually, just not yet.

RGIII concussed and out. After the knee.

I don't like the read option type QB.

Stick w Cassell, not Tyrod.

I agree gerbe, i hate the "surrounded by pro bowlers" comment. They feed off of each other, what did Hughes do before buffalo? Any of them are a big loss and the reason all 4 are/should be pro bowlers is because of each other. You cant double any of them.

Tyrod was not a "run first" QB last night though i like how he was patient and stayed in the pocket until he was swarmed on and had to run, though on the 21 Yard run i hate the hit he took, needs to get down 5 yards earlier to avoid contact.

Somewhat yes, but mostly no. EJ Manuel pulled that bullpoop during many of his starts and almost seemed to avoid first downs because he played the safe game. In preseason, yeah you take your foot off the gas to preserve yourself. But Tyrod has a lot to prove to try to win the job, so for him, I think he's gotta go full bore. No, I don't want him to endanger himself, but if he gets into a habit of going down 1, 2 yards early, it's going to annoy a whole (frank)load of people.

If it was close to a 1st down i agree.... he was 20 yards downfield...

Edit: And it will "annoy" a lot more people if he gets injured.

If he already has the 1st down, I'm fine with it. I'd rather he not get hurt.

Agreed. The read option style doesn't win enough games in the long run. Teams figure out how to stop it after 5 weeks of video, and the quarterbacks that are really good at it rarely stay healthy.

The only exception might (emphasis on might) be Russel Wilson, but the read option isn't primarily what he does. He just has the ability to run it when needed.

The Bills need a QB that can move the offense and throw the ball down field when needed, not run the ball.

Not gonna lie. I like what I saw from Taylor last night. Not only did he get some good yardage running the ball when it was necessary, but his passes weren't off target. They were right to the middle of the numbers.

Tyrod can throw the ball, thompson had multiple drops that would of padded the stat line, that would of been caught by our number 1s. Also, he did not look to run the ball first at all. But maybe we watched a different game

0 starting RBs or WRs is a problem. Especially when you're going up against a team who's defense is very good.

And when you throw perfect balls that are dropped, one being a TD that Sammy, Woods, or Percy more than likely catch. But Bills haters will always be Bills haters and will always down talk them. We should stick to hocley here and keep the football to BuffaloRumblings
