Personally my bet is the team that plummets is the Bruins , Now obviously TY since your Bruins do so well against the Habs obviously, its what you hope is going to happen that the Habs plummet so they don't beat your Gooinz, but I will tell you what will happen here goes ... Gorilla is older and slower as if he wasn't slow enough already , their heart was traded to LA ,goaltending is iffy at best without a proven NHL Backup, Rask cant play 82 games ... their front office is a mess , my bet is Julien gets sacked before the season is half over and the Bruins plummet to 25th or 26th ... just my humble opinion ...

Wow, Ty Anderson, flying the Bruin pride high with classic Bias to spare. You couldn't be more wrong in your habs and Canucks assessment. I'll just focus on the Habs for now...

I don't know what mirror ball you're using but WHY on earth do you think Price's ability to hold this team on his shoulders is gonna plummet....bcus of the fact he played the majority of last two seasons? Athletes at Prices caliber are highly capable of handling the wear and tear of the schedules, as physically/mentally grueling as they may be. Price will be back in the Vezina hunt again next year.

Although the Habs haven't added much, not much has been taken away. Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Deshairnais, Eller - these guys are only getting better and more productive, so it eliminates the point of wastefully adding another scorer. And you're wrong to think that the Habs coaching will be the pitfall of close, low scoring games. Their Defense and back checking is second to none in the league, they're excellent at winning those type of games. I don't think there are a lot of "issues" to solve in Montreal, they got outplayed by Tampa in a couple of games (a few bad bounces) but its fair to say that series could've gone either way.

If there's one team that's gonna plummet next year - its BOSTON. talk about an aging core...Who's gonna lead them to the promise land? Beleskey? not without Perry and Getzclaf. they lost THREE of their best players and got NOTHING in return. Rask isn't half of what he used to be, Chara is pushing 40!! kreji will be lucky to return to his old self coming off a season chalked full of injuries. To top it all off, a bottom 6 that's among the softest in the league, goodbye old bulldog bruins, hello #1 pick next year bahd. Do us a favor Ty, when you wave the bias flag, at least have the respect to salute it when its at half-mast!

It looks like you forgot. Here, I'll even give it to you.

" but dare I say that this group could even make a semi-legitimate run at a wild card spot in the East? Obviously, going from the worst in the East to the playoffs is a leap few have made, but given the uncertainty in the Atlantic Division, is it really impossible to imagine? Of course not. "

So again, no one expects Buffalo to make the playoffs. Sparky.

I think people are trying not to get too, too high on the roster. Overwhelming feeling is that the team still needs to nab another defenseman to be legitimate.

and the feeling was last year they were short a legit top winger, now they're short two....

On another note, relax on the butthurt level. He didn't say the Habs are bad, he said they aren't going to hit 110 points again.

Yep. Improbable but plausible im saying its pretty much impossible. If that makes me a joke what does you being wrong again make you? You're just upset because I posted the truth. When you get older stuff like this won't bother you.

How about your very own Boston Bruins, who made the dumbest trade in history with the Flames at the draft, and for two years in a row traded away huge pieces of the D core, for scraps. Not to mention a big piece in Lucic. The B's who missed the playoffs with 97pts,canned their GM and replaced him with a fool, will come nowhere near the 97pts that wasn't good enough last year. I'd be inclined to bet you the B's see a way bigger drop in points than the Habs will...

If you don't think the the Habs picked up Kassian to score goals, then I'm not sure what I think of your ability to evaluate what's happen in the Western conference. First off, he was on pace to score 20 goals during a very strange season; secondly, if he can pull it together and get the right opportunity the guy could be an exceptional player. He's not a fourth line banger and crasher.

Well I don't think it was the primary reason. He's an upgrade over Prust in the sense that he's younger, cheaper, and still has the ability to get better. If he can get 15-20 it's a nice little bonus.

I doubt it, I'd say equal at best. You need to watch Sbisa play more

Sbisa was one of the worst players in the league last year both defensively and offensively and he earned himself a raise due to his stellar performance.
