Tryamkin is pretty good. Im sure we could make the team in 2016. This guy can be our next franchise player.
- SMBDragon

My ex's father is Ukranian and watches the KHL pretty closely. He says that Tryamkin is the best defenseman on a VERY bad KHL team and is years away (if ever) from making the NHL. The KHL is a slight step above the ECHL at this point, especially with teams folding due to money issues.

I don't hate Higgins. It is a little unfair, him often being the whipping boy of many (me included) on here, he is played in that second line winger spot when he is really a third liner.

I wish him success as long as he is a Canuck, but often want him moved just so WD doesn't have that option to use him on the 2nd line or 2nd pp, at least not both all the time.

Burrows is still a good back up for the Sedins when Vrbata,Hansen or whoever sputters with them. Higgins is still a good PK guy and a solid 3L winger ...for now. Things might be very different at TDL.

[quote=Bieksa#3]For what it's worth, Merkley was hands down Kelownas best forward in the mem cup. The only game LD wasn't invisible was the semi final game.
I like Merkley. But imo he's in the shinkurak mould, and you can only have so many of those speedy little guys.
I'm sure to lead fans this comes off as a hater but look at Toronto top 3 prospects. They average 170lbs. While I am a huge Marner fan. But I question why you keep stockpiling guys who are too 6 or bust.

$hit I was talking Defence I meant Werenski. My Bad.

If he gets 25 goals he will be worth something.

Russian defence has always lacked and its due to the way they set their lines.
Ovi and Malkin hated it when they had the Russian coach for the olympics because they never had a shut down pair, or scoring pair. They just had the D as regular line mates never any real mix of the lines. A$$ backwards when it comes to developing Defence over there. Hell look at Yevgeni Medvedev 32 years old un-drafted just making the league. How he does is another story. They don't have a plethora of defensive talent Provorov aside. Bring that monster over here teach him engrish and break him like horse and free him of the wild Russian ways of defence.

Ok well its uncouraging thatvhes the best guy then. Thankfully we have his performances in the worlds to show what he can do. I like what he brings. We can see in video what his skills and tendencies are. So who cares if the khl isnt a great league. There are guys like kovalchuk and other talented nhl guys playing overnthere too that hes playing against remember.

Another thing to consider is that horvat had a better year at the nhl level then he did at the junior level. Sometimes it brings out the best in people.

I think higgins has this final year left. I doubt he'll be retained as its a spot for a younger player.
He could be moved at the deadline or after the playoffs.

Burrows is the best fit the sedins have ever had. He brings versatility to that line as well as he can score, playmake, dangle behind the net, screen the net, good on the pk, can agitate, shut down guys, and scores clutch Goals. Youd have to be insane to move him.

With higgins he has value and is very smart player. Most of what he brings doesnt end up in stats. Ultimately hed be expendible the most if it means standing in the way of a good prospect.

Best D is a tie between Ohlund (for longevity/stats) and Paul Reinhart (best PMD we ever had), Lumme is up there too.

I'll tell him you said that.

I never saw him play though. Jovo and Ohlund are two of my favourites.

Bachelor in Paradise needs to bring out hot normal chicks, not ones that cause the most drama. These chicks are nuts and no guy in their right mind would be in a relationship with any of them.

Chicks like that end up with guys who put up with them and who are stupid enough to be manipulated by them.

The show would be boring without the whores, b!tches, clingers, daddy's girls, gold diggers and frigids.

Not to mention it's not like any of the couple ever last past a few months after the show ends.

I think 2 or 3 have lasted longer than a year. That's from bachelor or bachelorette. Not sure about his show, the crazies come out. You are right, makes it more entertaining.
