And I almost forgot. Weber is in Utica by mid November.

I say Weber 15 goals 20 assists plays the 4 spot with Hamhuis

I expect a dip in points for the season, but I won't measure their success by the number of points earned, more about seeing the plan start to come together. If younger players are integrated, some additional picks are recouped and Benning's guys prove the fancy stat crowd wrong, I would consider that a success.

Based off of this bar I'm expecting a failure.

Sedins might just make him some good money if he sticks on PP1.

No doubt. I don't like the rest of his game though. He's a 6/7 dman to me.

"A maelstrom (/ˈmeɪlstrɒm/ or /ˈmeɪlstrəm/) is a very powerful whirlpool; a large, swirling body of water. A free vortex, it has considerable downdraft. The power of tidal whirlpools tends to be exaggerated by laymen."

I didn't say I expected success, but this is what I would consider successful for the year. If you (and the rest of your kind) are proved right, if Miller's SV% continues to drop and that leads to fewer wins, if Sutter's possession numbers remain poor and he underperforms point wise, and his line mates are equally devoid of goals/assists etc etc, then I would consider the season a failure, based on what the management group is trying to accomplish. If they are not in a strong playoff position (I would argue, even if they are in a playoff position) and do not trade expiring contracts for picks I will consider that a failure.

The difference between you and I, is that you have already made up your mind that the team is a failure, whereas I am prepared to wait and see how things turn out.

We already had one of them on forward. He took the puck and akated in circles till he fell over. I'll leave his name unmentioned but I'm pretty sure flames fans are aware of him
