Oh, I know. It's just tough because behind the Sabres, the Hawks are my other favorite team. Kane is the reason I really started paying attention to them years ago, but he's not the only reason I stayed interested at all.

The fact that all this is coming in the offseason after they won a 3rd Cup in 6 years is just very deflating. They are probably the closest thing we'll see to a dynasty in a salary cap era and I now feel like it's tainted a bit. I know it shouldn't, because a players off ice activities have nothing to do with the game itself, but it still puts a huge black smudge on it, IMO.

We're all trying real hard to find something to talk about besides Mr you know who.

But it is depending on how you look at it. Pat Kane is from Buffalo. Until Evander Kane brings a Cup here, the only Kane that's really going to matter to this city is Patrick.

Not to be insensitive to those involved, but assuming for a moment Kane is really in trouble, think about the Hawks fall from grace? Losing all those players to free agency then this.

Well since Sharper was a serial rapist it's apples to oranges at this point.

Until the facts come out fully who knows.

Cant really compare NFL/NBA players to Hockey players, NFL/NBA players are almost expected to get in trouble given that the majority are not brought up the same way as NHL players.
