It's ok... Everyone is packing here. New law passed last July lets people have loaded guns in your car, anywhere in your car... With or without a carry permit. Also got rid of the knife restrictions in your car.
You can't carry your gun around outside your car unless you have a carry permit though. And you can have a gun in a bar, unless the bar has a sign on it saying "no guns allowed".

It's a wanna be old west situation down here.

I'm not anti-gun as I have one and am looking for another for when I get my carry permit. But they are getting too crazy down here with their gun laws.

That's pretty odd. IM all for gun ownership but you should be licensed to do so. Sheet if I need a license to go on a jet ski you better have one for a gun.

I think that's pretty dangerous letting just anyone have a gun in their car.

If that was Buffalo, I can't imagine what the crime rate would be.

Maybe it would be less, because every time some punk thought hed get smart he might actually get smart knowing he could be staring right down the barrel of his own life.

The bad guys who intend to do bad things with guns obtain them no matter how illegal they are...

This guy in nashville didnt buy his bombs at the grocery store.

I do think its a little crazy theres no permit needed to carry in a car there, but good people arent going to shoot cops. So if that is an issue couple up patrol cars.

Btw how many of those stops are unwarranted? How many vehicle searches are unwarranted? Too many is the answer.

I have been the subject of unwarranted stops and searches when i was younger. Wish i knew better and wasnt too scared of the badge to ask if i commited a crime, and tell them to get lost. Specifically growing up in cheektowaga i know its a problem. They camp the city line and pull people over all day long. Ive witnessed it more than i can count sitting in my buddies apartment on walden about 3 blocks from the city line. All stops are made heading away from the city. Id imagine 80% of them are unwarranted.

The only time I ever got stopped was when I went through a stop sign, and the kind cop let me go.

Had a fake gun (air soft)
Hoax device in his backpack
Much younger than they first thought

Suicide by cop is my guess.

And here is the disconnect. By personal experience and hearsay blowing a stop sign barely gets you pulled in the city. Unless its egregious.

In cheektowaga if you get pulled for rolling a stop sign you better be prepared to deny entry to your vehicle.

edit: Age and race dependent of course, young and black in cheektowaga you better know your rights and the limits of their power.

Except, the only car at the other stop sign was a cop. Egregious enough?

I'm amazed at the flak Vancouver is getting for the Sutter contract.

He's a 3rd liner that scored 21 goals and is still in his twenties. What do you expect to sign him for?

Matt Beleskey has one decent season on a great team and get's about 500k less per year and the Bruins get praised

Hey im not discrediting your experience. I have however rolled stop signs warranting a pull over in front of a cop in buffalo and breezed by. Speeding doesnt seem to be a big concern of theirs either

My one run in with the cops in buffalo was way back in 2002... My friend and I were driving down a one way road and stopped at a stop sign or light when a cop car tried turning down the road we were on. They were yelling at us to get out of the way like it was our fault and they weren't breaking the law... No lights flashing, just trying to go the wrong way on a one way road. I guess you don't have to be the brightest tool in the crayon box to be a cop in buffalo.

Maybe my problem starts with driving a stick shift. Ever since ive had one i avoid 1st gear at all costs which turns into rolling every stop sign i come across
