I have to say fox was anything but fair and balanced tonight with their "debate"

msnbc and cnn is too far to the left for me, but tonight, fox clear has their own agenda as well

Is anyone else saying this or just the one source?
- Cup Crazy '07

I did a quick search and found some site called the sports blog who also claims the offer was 2 years at 4.5 per. They could be a hack like Krulicki. I'd wait till McKenzie has it. Who knows though, they could have made an offer.

I still don't like the idea to Franson and would rather they play the kids.

Agreed. I'm feeling the same way. Yet I've only been here about 25 mins and I've been super productive already. It's very strange.

No. He's better off not being in Buffalo. Trouble seems to find him here. Not to mention the fans would have unrealistic expectations for him.

I like him just fine in Chicago.

Probably true. He seems to act like an entitled bumhole when he is in his old stomping grounds. I hope for everyone's sake nothing serious happened, but if Kane gets out of this without any charges/jail time, I have a feeling he's played his last game in Chicago.

I hate the entire situation. No matter what the outcome is, it's horrible. Either he did it, which means he's a complete scumbag, or the woman is pissed at him and is now saying it wasn't consensual to spite him. It's a really sad situation no matter how you look at it.

I agree with you 100%. Hockey aside this is terrible overall. You would love to think your favorite players are upstanding citizens and wouldn't do awful things like this, but they do stupid poop just like everyone else.

Unfortunately not everyone that plays professional sports is like Toews. It would be great if they were, but they're not.

Not 100%, no. But I think he's been in the spotlight enough over the years that you know he's not out partying it up every night either. He didn't get the nickname "Captain Serious" out of nowhere.

I know, he definitely presents himself as a "choir boy", but sometimes those are the sickest people.

Last week, we looked at the top three "win-now" teams, who understand their stars are aging and geared up for another run at the Cup. This week, we look at the franchises that are well on their way to being the next Chicago or Tampa Bay -- aka our "win-later" clubs.

The team in the best position to be a championship team in several years is the Buffalo Sabres.
