This is why I think they look ahead to next off-season. You know where you're picks are, learned more about your prospects through the year (who to keep etc.) and who you've got a shot at in free agency.

Our first next year will address one of those areas either way, free agency could potentially address the other (what i'd do for Yandle).

If the Defense at the beginning of the year is what we have now, I say we'll be picking from like 5-8. If they manage to improve it a bit. I think maybe like 8-12.
