Probably has to do with the exposure they've got over the last decade... and the strong taste they have. Other nuts are definitely more complimentary to foods.

I was actually surprised to learn that. We discovered it when he ate fava bean soup. He had a reaction as well and the doctor told us.

when I was little, we used to go to this hotel on lake ontario with a pirate ship for kids to play in... I'd get at least a dozen black fly bites out there every time.
