I remember that place being awesome 25 years ago.

I'd take it over 5-guys. Better fries, burgers don't taste much worse... and actually stay together when you eat them.

Unfortunately they need more than one pitcher.
They would have go on a miracle run.
Cross your fingers

I agree on needing more than 1 pitcher, but that could be enough if they tighten up a bit on D and keep cracking the ball

There's a 5 Guys nearby and I never tried it.

My son has a severe allergy to peanuts. He'd probably choke just getting in there.

yea, seems like an odd business strategy.

Surprised they haven't been sued by somebody walking in, not realizing what was waiting for them.

And honestly, after a full day in the fryer, I doubt peanut oil actually gives a particular taste to the fries.

What Harper is doing, is turning a 2 month election race to 3 months. By doing so, he's forcing his opponents to open their election accounts and will try to bankrupt them throughout the campaign. The Tories always have more money in their war chest and due to having more voters who supported them, last time, they get that $1+ per vote from the last election. The other parties will have less money from the treasury to fight the election and the Tories outperform them at fund raising. It's a tactical advantage to have a 3 month race over a 2 month race.

Actually, what he is doing is signing a trade agreement with Pacific countries. What his hope is, that the impact of this trade agreement won't be felt yet by voters as it will be too new.
What the trade agreement is about? Other countries want Canada to lower protections and tariffs on importing dairy, beef, eggs, and wheat. Currently Canada has massive tariffs to prevent import of these products so that our local farmers stay in a healthy market for their services. Having these tariffs removed would bankrupt a lot of farms and basically put a large portion of Harpers voting base on the fritz. So, get it done now, have an election before farmers realize what the impact is, and he laughs his way to the bank.

Was it any good?

I just find dit dumb to use peanuts oil as so many people are allergic (and peanuts allergies can be deadly). As a parent, I check before going to a restaurant with my son, but a teenage boy and his buddies may not suspect he'll find peanuts in his fries.

Their fries seem to be what everyone raves about. They're pretty similar to New York Fries, IMO, though not as fried.

I can't say it was something special that I'd have to go back for... any other oil would have done the trick. It's not an overpowering peanut taste, but you can feel it mixed in a bit... makes them a bit more earthy.
