Still angry over what EA Sports did if anyone here plays EA Sports Hockey League on NHL. Was my absolute favorite game, and I even had a top 50 club, then EA decided to screw the pooch. I had to spend the last year doing...semi productive things. Curse you EA

Love playing Club! I play LW. I can't stand when players can't play their positions, especially guys who claim they play defense and try to play like forwards. I might even switch to D all season long myself.

My main position is RW, but I can play anything in a pinch, though preference is always RW. I know what you mean -- I play in a club with just my close friends, but I've played a lot of drop in games to know the dunderheads floating around on it haha. Sometimes in a drop in I go defense just because I get sick of those cherry picking defenseman playing like forwards, like you said. My few friends and I who are in my club, we've played every NHL since EASHL came out in '09 together so we all know what expect out of one another. I'm so excited to play it again.

Yep. They did away with boost slots and unlocking cards, so everyone is always on a completely level playing field. You now just choose whether you want a two way forward (I always went that in games prior), a sniper, playmaker, grinder, etc.. Then it auto gives you the points. They also made it so you can't have your guy be one of those 5'7'' grinders who just speeds around everywhere or a 6'9'' guy who trucks everyone. Based on your class you have parameters to size.
