I don't have one GIF stockpiled for different occasions such as you have. I don't need them because I don't find the need to try to correct people such as your name indicates .

Again you question my maturity yet you reply to everything I comment on. I know I am immature a lot of times. I suggest you get that mirror and take a good long look.

I really really really can't find anyway to justify this trade. Bonino's cap hit is gold in the cap era. Then one of our best prospects and a 2nd for a 3rd. And we add to the cap. Is Benning just trying to make friends?

Bonino is not a third line center .

Listen to a JB interview... sounds like he has had his eye on him for awhile. Thinks he is a good two way centre. Good defensively and chips in too offensively. I liked Bonino, not a good skater, but he managed to get around okay and was effective on the pk. Got his points.

We needed help in the dot too.

I don't want to get too excited over this without seeing a few games played. He adds a little size down the middle, with more hits... wondering if that will be noticeable? Make players around him better?

He does none of those things.

Brandon Sutter is an okay top 9 winger that can take faceoffs. He doesn't play the center position well at either end of the ice.

just a tangent to the conversation but, if we take contracts and this trade out of it, what do you think about bonino as a player?

i've always thought he was meh. not great, not bad. just a player that seems replaceable. as he's more offensive than defensive, he is best suited for a top 6 role.

if he's to be a 3rd line centre, i think he needs big strong wingers that can crash and bang. at this point, the canucks don't really have that. they have medium size players who can skate and forecheck. therefore, i think bonino wouldn't be an optimal bottom 6 centre for the canucks (doesn't mean he couldn't be on another team with different wingers).

I guess JB should have called you before making that trade. I just put down most of what I heard JB say in his interview...

He brings a different element my problem is Bonino and sutter are a wash. Even if they value sutter more, you've added in Clendening and then you've traded down. I don't believe that sutter is worth that much more then bonino. You then add 1.4 million and he's a FA at the end of the year.

My thought is every trade Benning is making, I don't hear or read anywhere tweet or comment from any sports anaylist that this is a "good deal"

They are not a wash. Bonino is a better second line forward. Sutter is a better third line forward. Bo got promoted. The job audition is for third line

JB also thinks Sbisa is a top 4 d-man...
