No, I'll admit that Troy is the better player, but giving up prospects for a position already filled by a very good player is stupidity. Instead of using them to get a SP. That's why it's stupid.

Don't worry the Jays aren't making the playoffs this year (with the roster they have now).

Although it is an upgrade....doesnt fix our glaring issues. Sure Hawkins will help a bit this year...but not much.

No doubt we need a top end starter which could also solve the pen problems when another guy gets moved to the backend. But Reyes defense was a major issue (not the biggest) it wasn't just the errors, it was his range and arm too. We just upgraded that big time with TT and his defense will help the pitching.

nah basically said that baseball can't be a very complicated sport if Dominicans play it. i'm not at all a fan of how overly PC we've become in Canada/US but there's a clear distinction between PC and outright insulting people.

They did not have to give up Stroman, Sanchez, Osuna or Norris to get Donaldson or Tuli .. thats great

At first they said a full year but it's possible he could return very late in the season. He's been throwing for a while now but just going through the motions. He's a Duke finishing off his degree.

To be fair, I'm fine with the Marlins trade. Mark and Jose have been fine. Josh's arm broke into a million pieces.

The one I have a problem with is Richardey. He was never any different from Wakefield, but was sold as an ace.

But you know, it could also be like the Royals if you have a competent GM.
