Nylander and Marner

I was at the Sports Village in Vaughan yesterday. Happened to see Marner working out at the The Hill Academy, where he used to go, Looked pretty good and working hard. As an aside, on another pad, Jason Spezza was working out with a coach and three video guys, working mainly on shooting. High end stuff with a monitor set up right on the ice to review what he was doing. He then finished up and Hailey Wickenheiser jumped on the ice and went through the same routine with the coach.

Marner signed his ELC gentlemen. ...

not saying this WILL happen, just that I would like to see this happen.
+ it's not that far fetched that Marner would make the team; in the last 5 years, there have been 16 18-year old rookies. Now that includes as well those guys that play 1-9 games and then are sent down again (OHL is an option there still I assume?).

If there's a scenario that i don't see happening, is that Marner would get a 'chance' to play 9 games and then will be sent down; don't think that's what Leafs plan to do with their prospects. Marner needs to earn his spot on the team in preseason, but if he's there for game 1, I believe Leafs will keep him on the team for sure.
