No, he's just not as good as Josi and Weber. Neither is anyone on the Leafs roster.

Phaneuf is so good guys he's a true #1 defenseman just like you were all saying the past 3 years!! What a great contract he's on now and now that Babcock is here he is going to win the Norris!!

Like, if you actually watched the games you would know that Dion Phaneuf is so amazing and a real #1 dman. With a real coach like Babcock he's just going to be even better!!!!

Neither of those two had the PP time either. Pretty telling what Franson is as soon as he goes to NSH he's bottom pairing who can handle some PP time. Other words a dime a dozen. Move on..
