Burkie Nonis gave up way too much to get Bolland.
Ended up losing Bolland for absolutely nothing.
So MLSEL went out and got Holland, hoping no one would notice.

Phaneuf is so good guys he's a true #1 defenseman just like you were all saying the past 3 years!! What a great contract he's on now and now that Babcock is here he is going to win the Norris!!
Like, if you actually watched the games you would know that Dion Phaneuf is so amazing and a real #1 dman. With a real coach like Babcock he's just going to be even better!!!! |

He doesn't stink and he was put on the wrong side in NSH
But also OH OMG HE GOT LESS ICE TIME CUZ HE SUCKS!!! And he's definitely strong on the PP which of course NSH would prefer to give minutes to Josi/Weber.
No, he's just not as good as Josi and Weber. Neither is anyone on the Leafs roster. |

Lets go through the list:
Harrington... AHL
Percy.. AHL
Robidas... should retire already
Phaneuf... marginally better than Franson if at all
Marincin... needs to prove himself... could be an adequate Franson replacement actually (not really - he plays on the left side. This will be a good thing for the Leafs)
Hunwick... bottom pairing
Gardiner... has he really been better than Franson? no.
Rielly... yes. Better and needs ice time to develop so he should be given it regardless of whether he is better than Phaneuf or not.
Polak... ... 4-6 defenseman |
