Yeah... They really don't bother me that much. Some of their fans come off as annoying know it alls but they get theirs in the end. The Pens always seem to be too top heavy, injuries and Fluery usually catches up with them.

I really just despise the Habs. They just can't lose enough for me.

EDIT: Honourable mention to the Yankees and Patriots fans, not the Patriots, just their fans. What a mentally weak fanbase Pats fans are.

So, if the rumors are that we are trying to trade Seidenberg and then sign Franson are true..........then that probably means that they, Bs management, are banking on a Krug - McQuaid middle pairing.

Which therefore equals a long season.

I think Seidenberg will be better this year, IMO. He was horrible most of the season but was getting much better towards the end of the season. That seems to be in line with the one year to recover from an ACL injury.

Franson is also a boarder line player. He is probably a 4 and if we sign him we would have him replace Hamilton as a 2. Can he take that next step?

Who the hell knows.

If we are an "elite" team this season it will be like hitting the lottery, because I just don't see it.

Does anyone know where Seabass and Little Donny get there weed? Maybe that could help all of us see what they are seeing.

If Franson replaces him for the next few years, we'll have the money to sign a defensive defenseman next offseason to replace the departure of Seidenberg (although he won't be replaced this season). If not, it's Franson, McQuaid, Chara, Krug (assuming he gets 3.5-4.5 million next season) combined for around 19 million dollars as your top 4?

Departure of Seidenberg next year..........? Seidenberg AND Chara are signed for the next THREE years.

Said it before and I'll say it again. The McQuaid signing makes the least amount of sense out of all the moves this offseason...........

Pretty sure they think that Quaider will be a top 4 and that Krug will prove he is also a top 4.

All this combined with the mindset that CJ is D-first and we are keeping him as our coach.............none of this makes sense unless we are VERY WRONG with what Quaider and Krug are.

Maybe they think Clode Vader is really that good at coaching guys up. Seriously.

Edit: Reread your post and I think I see what you were saying about trading Seidenberg this season and signing a replacement next season by letting Krug walk.
