I have a good feeling I'll be re-watching the series again soon, perhaps as early as tonight. I'll be starting at episode 2, only because I've seen episode 1 so many times. :D

there was a game vs the habs, not sure if it was that season or a different year

the team was floating, and the game was at home

down a goal, 2 or 3 stupid call were made against the sabres and next thing you know they are down three

it lit a fire on their ass and they put up like 6 goals in the next 15 minutes, give or take

one of the greatest turnarounds I have seen
pretty sure it was a friday night game

the greatest was andreychuk's rookie year, or second year

bruins went up 6-0 on the sabres at home and the sabres came back and won

I remember being at a Leafs game in March of the presidents trophy year where everything that could go wrong did.... puck going off a referee behind the net to a wide open Leaf in front to make it 4-1 with maybe 15 minutes to go in the game.... then something clicked and they scored 4 goals in 13 minutes to win 5-4. One of my favorite regular season games ever. Not to mention all the Leafs fans there were crying I think.

Either this game was against the lightning, or knowing that team it happened more than once.

I went to a sabres tampa game 06-07 season with my buddy and they were down 4-1 and completely lifeless. Proceeded to rattle off 6 unanswered goals and with every goal the building got louder. By the time it was 6-4 i thought the roof was going to collapse.

As for the canes/sabres debate. I have always stuck to the injured defensemen excuse. However as time passes it is much easier to accept that being up 2-1 going into the 3rd period in game 7 WITH all the injuries, there is one position in sports that can hide such bad fortune. Miller plays that position, and miller did not overcome.

Larsson's 1 yr contract is worth $735,000. For those that sorta care.

365, you're a greasy bastard.

I don't understand why anyone even cares about that, other than the player that signed the contract.

I fully understand the concept. He is going to get paid as an NHLer no matter where he plays. I was interested and probably could have guessed thats what it was because why would larsson sign a two way deal.

He isnt going to clear waivers either, so he will either be here or traded.

Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like a shot. Just a matter of fact like.

I myself used to be under the impression that a 2 way contract made you waiver exempt.

But yeah. One way, I doubt he'd ever clear. He's going to be a very quality complimentary player in this league, I believe.

Its all good, i dont know all the ins and outs of that crap and actually learned what i know about it from reading you guys here.

I agree, i liked what i seen from larsson near the end of last season he seemed to get it. My feeling is he should be the 3c to begin the season. Unless of course he is traded

Best game I've been to has had to be the one against the sharks the day after the 3407 crash. Sabres were up 4-1 and ended up going 5-4 and I'll never forget my seats in the 100 level behind the net and watching Pommer tip Craig Rivet's shot in with I believe 3.2 seconds left. Sabres won in a shootout. The one bright spot on a rough day for Buffalo

I think doc emrick sucks behind the mic

I know I am in the minority on this

I think Gary Thorne is way better

- homiedclown

I'm with you on this. People like Doc around here? Me and my friends make fun of him constantly. I don't HATE him but I don't think he is good either.
