So, to sum up:
1. If you don't like Led Zepplin, your opinion of music is wrong.
2. Ringo Starr was a hack
3. No musicians in metal bands have any talent.

- jmatchett383

4. Neil Peart is the greatest drummer of all time. Period.

fixed.

Shame too.

Politician. Mmmmmmm

- Giroux_Is_God

Politician is a great song. Check this out with JB and Rory Gallagher from early 90's. This is amazing.

I think Beatles for Sale might be mine. Words of Love

I've played Dr. Robert at gigs before. The "well well well"s are typical Beatles- sound easy right? Hahaha NO.

Me and my dad play a rousing rendition of Two Of Us.

The Rain Song is (frank)ing great.

If I remember correctly, Jimmy has his guitar tuned to an A7 for that

Yup, great live band, though sometimes the "space" part of the show bored me
- BiggE

All those bands do that. The spacey part of the show does get boring. Even if you're on like 6 hits of acid if ya can believe that. I've only ever seen widespread panic, phish, and moe though. Did get to see the Fare Thee Well show though and that was (frank)ing awesome, don't really count that as seeing the dead, without jerry, I can't say I truly saw the dead.

Is Phil Collins really that good of a drummer? Top 25, 22nd on the list?

I don't agree with the entire list, but I think Rolling Stone Magazine knows a little more than you and I.

And Wheels of Fire is amazing too! Cream is probably my second favorite band. They just don't have a huge history. Only together about 2.5 years.

I saw the Dead about 15 times tween 83 and 92. Wish I could remember more of the shows, but oh well!

You should start your own publication, and put them out of business.

Did you see his daughter? That alone should get him on any top-25 list for eternity.

Actually, I was going to write "greatest rock drummer" of all time thinking of Buddy Rich, and I thought, nah, that's details. Forgot who I was talking to lol.

Actually, even Peart would put Buddy #1.

People that poop on Ringo are just stupid.

Let's sit down and watch this video and realize that he was a (frank)ing awesome drummer.

Did you have the worst seat in the house? The seat behind Bill Walton?

I crack up when I hear him talk about the Dead. I think he's seen 1000+ shows.
