I work second shift

I think I would rather have Larsson on the 3rd line than Foligno and I would be trying to trade Foligno. We have enough big guys on this team right now and I think Larsson creates far more chances for his linemates than Foligno does.

So the question becomes, does Foligno and a 3rd or 2nd rounder = a D man (LH?)?

Neither Larsson nor Foligno will be on the 3rd line. They will basically battle for 4th line duties.

McGinn - Eichel/Reinhart/Girgensons - Gionta will be our 3rd line.

Deslauriers - McM/Legwand/Foligno/Larsson will assemble the 4th IMO

This is his best opportunity. He has a coach that is good for him and will work with him.

I understand it is the best opportunity for HIM, but he does not play well on the 3-4th lines, so I see them sending him to AHL where another team will take him.

I think that Foligno could be so much more than a 4th liner. He has more trade value too. I gotta think that Foligno is traded.

Who knows if McCormick is even going to be able to play this year. And even if he does, they can always send him to Rochester. I don't really think we'll see Foligno traded as he was one of the guys Murray mentioned on the Trade Deadline as being a guy they'd have to get a HUGE return to think about moving.

Now, if for whatever reason moving him got us a 1st pair D man, I'd be all for it. Otherwise I don't think you'll him going anywhere.

I'm rooting Speith. mostly because Golf needs the next superstar. Speith V McElroy can be the next great rivalry.

I don't know that it does. I was mostly working off the premise that Murray mentioned he was one of the guys closest to being "untouchable" back at the deadline.

I think in order to move him it would have to be an offer that seriously wowed him. That's all.
