Bagosian, Risto, and Pysyk are all RH d-men. Sabres fans see Pysyk as having the potential to be a top 4 d-man, but it'd be a tough assignment for him to jump Bagosian or Ristolinen...

Shouldn't Mark Pysyk become trade bait then?

Hmmm, imagine what kind of LH d-man solution could we net by packaging Pysyk & Foligno in a trade?

Buffalo trades Mark Pysyk and Marcus Foligno to Pitt, for Olli Maata.

- SuperCat

Pysyk plays left D - did all year in Rochester despite shooting right.

Speaking of tvs, id like some suggestions on the best bang for its buck to watch the sabres games year round from out of town. Keep in mind i wont have cable and i may be moving around often. NHL gamecenter is all ive found so far and thats $80 a season?

Its crazy to think you guys added 3 Top 6 players under 25 in 6months in Eichel, ROR, and Kane. Not too many teams could do that this day and age.

I think the Sabres still have flaws, especially in the Dcore. Bogo and Risto are pillars going forward but really everything after that has questions marks attached to it.

If you get stable goal tending in Lehner and a few young guns take the next step, this team can make some noise really quick. Maybe not next season bc of how many new pieces were added with a new coach, might take some time for it all together. But in 2016-17 season. I would put some money on you guys making playoffs

Four too 6 forwards really as Reinhart should be on that list

I've gone with Gamecenter the last 3 seasons now and have never had any problems (other than blackouts for national broadcasts or vs the Canes). It's great to be able to access it from anywhere, unlike Center Ice.

I believe it's more than $80 though, more around the $140 range if I remember right, though I'm horrible at remembering things like that. I just know it's an annual thing I must pay for since I have no other good way to see the games - online feeds are sketchy/virus-laden/bad quality.

Good for him. He started to look like a hockey player once he was put in a role that fit his abilities.

I think I would rather have Larsson on the 3rd line than Foligno and I would be trying to trade Foligno. We have enough big guys on this team right now and I think Larsson creates far more chances for his linemates than Foligno does.

So the question becomes, does Foligno and a 3rd or 2nd rounder = a D man (LH?)?

Is it weird the Colorado is paying Grigorenko a low one way salary, because if they send him to the AHL he needs to clear waivers and you know some other team will take a chance on him (Arizona, Toronto is that you?).

I guess the fact of the matter is, regardless what they pay him a team would take a chance on him. At first I was thinking if they paid him more than a million that a team would still take a chance on him.

I still think they will send him down cause he does not play well on the 3-4th line and they definitely have 7 players that are better than him, so that is where he will play. If he is going to be successful, he plays on the 2nd line, which he still needs time to mature into. I feel bad for how he was handled by the Sabres, but I don't think he will be on Colorado for long.

This is his best opportunity. He has a coach that is good for him and will work with him.
