There is always a time on that thread when I have no idea what people in here are talking about and right now is that time.

don't bother trying to figure it out... Wendel commentary trolled by a Habs fan... nothing worth getting excited about really.

the Habs fans can't bring themselves to acknowledge that a player from any other Canadian based team is ever really any good... its just who they are.

people who comment now (in 2015) when hockey has become a largely emotionless ice capades competition can't appreciate players like Clark, who like Shanahan did much much during a game than simply scoring a goal or throwing a hit.

but the "youngins" can't and won't allow themselves to believe that there is any redeeming qualities to even a singular good or great player - regardless of whether played for largely useless teams... .and particular these days when so many who "know so much" about sport and competition or at least like to create the facade that they do - but rather only reinforce how little they actually KNOW of what truly competing a high level means.

its pretty clear that we all NOW know that Kessel would never become the kind of player that leads others... while immensely talented he simply doesn't posses the DNA of a Toews, a Crosby or any one of a number of highly skilled players in the past who also had the intestinal fortitude to lead.

the fact that Kessel wasn't or would never be as truly "loved" like Wendel was and still is to this day tells you all you need to know - about both Kessel and about Wendel.
