He's pretty consistent. Also, he gets assists on all of Patch's ENGs.

So true.

Well Plek does it, so not on his count. But Galchenyuk would need big strides for that.
- hscesq

Meh, he put up 20 last year. I think he can still trend upwards, at least I hope so.

personally i want to see if DLR has a bit more offence in his game first. good teams need more than just defence from a third line. they need to chip in offensively a bit as well. that's the part of his game i doubt.
- DoubleDown

I'll wait on this, he was 19, first year in North America and was asked to play defensively from the first day he got here. I think just with his forecheck ability he can produce more, hard to judge his skills from how they asked him to play.

I don,t know... 14 pts over 82 games. It's not major. Not at his age anyway.
- Pecafan Fan

The number seems doable for sure. And he did have some length droughts. He has to take that next step and if he does, 60 is very doable.

Your hate for Eller negates anything you have to say about any of this. Go work on your splitter.

He was very impressive imo.

Depends on expectations. I don't see him ever being more than a third liner. So ya, an Eller clone really. But he can become a very good penalty killer.

Therrien writes it before every game on the locker room's board, with his blood.

Physically he doesn't stand very high, but the aura of poop he exudes is tremendous in size.

Pretty sure they asked him to throw the puck behind the D and hit them as hard as he could. Just imagine the Therriensplosion if god forbid he tried to carry the puck in and created a turnover.

yes it's a hotly contested debate over who will be the lighter-scoring third line center

So do you think he gets a crack at playing the wing on top two lines with Weise and Kassian then?

It's Therrien so by game 3 he should have at least a shift with Plekanec

You'd have to be a golden boy to get a crack at the top 6 at 20 years old under Therrien. They do seem to like him a lot mind you.
