Well we need both. If Risto moved to the left side than technically Bogo or Pysyk could be on his pair
- sbroads24

finding a guy who can fit in the top 4 will be a lot easier once they find that other top pairing guy.

It's probably why Oduya worked out in Chicago in the first place. That core can make just about anyone look like they belong in a top 6/top4

Licking your chops for lottery picks when there is still at least one more move in the bank coming is not something I would be doing but feel free.

Is nobody going to talk about Josh Chapman? That guy was a beast out there last night. Great defense and held his own against a bigger guy in Kea. Also had great skating. Sabres should give him a look

I was saying we will be at 5 "maybe" we win the Lottery

I don't know what you're expecting picking at 5 is still a huge improvement.

this team will be fun to watch but there are soooo many question marks

10-15 range is where they will be picking when its all said and done IMO.

Adding 4 very talented players to the top 6 will do wonders.

They still need to add a top 4 D but just good top 6 forwards will help the D out tremendously, oh and a competent coach to boot.

Kane- 55-60 points ROR 55-60 points Ennis 50-60 points
Moulson 45-50 points Eichel 45-50 points Reinhart 45-50 points
McGinn 30-40 points Girgensons 30-40 points Gionta 30-40 points
Folingo 20-30 points Legwand 20-30 points Larrson 20-30 points

When Brian Flynn with 17 points in in the top 10 on your team in scoring as he was last year(even after being dealt at the deadline) something is very wrong.

There will be a lot of improvements. The Sabres imo will be closer to the playoffs than the lottery.

That's if everyone stays healthy, which probably won't happen.

With injuries, not all those guys will post those numbers. I'm thinking we pick around 12-15, but top 5 wouldn't surprise me.

Lehner -?
Kane staying healthy-?
Bogosian healthy-?
How good will Eichel be-?
Is Risto ready to be a 1-2-?

I'd say the only sure things are Ennis, O'Reilly, and Girgensons

The only one I am worried about not being able to stay healthy is Kane.

I might be a little over zealous with the rookies scoring but still 17 points will not be in the Sabres top 10 in scoring this coming year.

So when Chapman knocked Kea on his ass that was planned? When Kea got up and chirped him into a fight that was planned? Idk what you were watching but the kid can skate imo. Will he ever play in Buffalo? Probably not but he'd be a good Rochester pickup

Do the research, that's pretty much what they average over the last few seasons.

Like I just said I might have been a little over zealous with the rookie scoring but everyone else should hit those numbers.

Kane is the question mark with regards to him staying healthy.

Not all of them will, some will surpass.

Having a much improved offense will help the D as well. 10-15 is where we will be picking. Closer to the playoffs than the lottery

He got turned inside out more than once, the 5th goal (I believe it was) he was a total pylon. Has some growing to do.
