before this past draft, IMO only #11 had more talent when drafted

some would say pierre should have been second, others barrasso

This is Truth ^^^^^^^^

Read carefully and don't start listing HOF Sabres as they weren't "rated" nearly as high as Samson.

Gilbert
Eichel
Pierre
Samson
Vanek
Barrasso
Mogilny(didn't think they'd get a hold of him)
Housley
Mike Ramsey
Tyler Myers

I hope Reinhart gets a full year of AHL action. Look what that did for Ristolainen and Girgensons.

My jackass neighbors are still blowing off fireworks. It's like they've been "celebrating" the 4th for a month now

what cracks me up is many people say the ahl does wonders for girgens and risto

IMO girgens has the edge where is does not matter where he is playing, he over-achieves

as for Risto, I do not notice a difference really, one day he looks like he can be a stud in the league, one day he looks like a 4th rd draft pick

the one player I think it did help was foligno, but that is someone you expect to have a few stints in rochester

I think it was a bad trade for the stars

their D took a hit and Garbutt is very under-rated as a third line player and decent on the pk

they got stephen Johns i'm a prospect whore but he is the best D prospect the hawks have had in years he would have replaced Seabrook some day ..

Tsybrookov, then?

Did you know that Tsybrookov, in Russian, means Whale's Urethra?

Facts are fun.

He's got one serious advantage over those two. He'll be playing on a team designed to win.

Edit: And capable of scoring

The way the league calls games these days, i wouldn't bet on it. Hopefully im wrong and it changes next year but this year was the worst i've seen it in a while.
