Couldn't agree more... I was starting to think that free agency didn't exist anymore, and the Bruins roster was carved in stone and handed down by Jebus himself... Our team has felt stale for a few years now it was nice to shake things up a bit. No way to tell if it'll actually work other than to wait it out and see. But I've been enjoying this off season way more than the recent few years.

So here is the drinking game this year. For every bruins game you can watch beginning to end.

1.Drink for every hit the bruins make.
2. Big drink for every goal for
3. Big drink for every goal against (Unless its Thornton, Kessel, Seguin or Hamilton) then you have to shotgun a beer or do a shot of something 70 proof or higher
4.Drink every time the NBCSN announcers mention the hamilton, kessel or seguin trades.
5. Drink a victory beer or drink for every win
6. Drink two depression beers or drinks for every loss
7. Drink every time Jack Edwards says something stupid (might want to mute your TV every now and then on this one, I was drunk just on this challenge one time)
8. Last one, one direct pull from a bottle every time there is a bonehead mistake in the defensive zone that leads to a goal. (this is a wildcard)

yeah it was pretty dumb on my part and his. There was an insane trade scenario proposed. Yandle and Stepan for Bergeron which is just moronic. I made the mistake of asking some douche rag who was poopting on Bergeron as if he sucked "You wouldn't want Bergeron?" Meaning never mind that stupid trade but even at all? I got called everything in the book, snapped called him a C8nt and told him to die. Ban city.

TBH the Edwards rule could be its own game. But for champion drinkers its pretty much an 12 pack minimum during the game. Usually 13-14 beers if Edwards is really on his game being a dumbass

Every time i listen to Dale Arnold on WEEI I think back to the days of him and Kluzak calling the games. good times. They were no Cusick and Sanderson, but they were better than Edwards.

I think Brickley actually does an awesome job with Jack. I think he genuinely doesn't like the guy, and thinks he's a cook... but he does a good job of managing his own hatred while he's in the booth. You can tell there's times where he thinks Jack is an idiot, because he doesn't even respond to him... he just lets out one of his little laughs.

That being said I have a very love/hate relationship with Jack. Half the time he's a complete moron, but he actually does do a good job with the play by play, and his passion, while most times he goes overboard, is appreciated. I've had the NHL Center Ice package for the past two years, and listening to other announcers around the league, I'm definitely happy that we have Edwards... most guys have the personality of a cardboard tube.
