I agree if history is a window towards the future Seabrook signs for a reasonable contract I can see him signing between $6 and $7 mil

I find all this Seabrook trade talk and big contract talk laughable. He currently makes a little more than Duncan Keith - a two time Norris Trophy, two time Olympic gold medalist and now a Conn Smythe winner. He has been with the Hawks organization for 12 years, is a very important core piece to this team and is very well liked and respected in the Hawks locker room.
He has made a lot of money in his career to this point and will be more than happy to slot in at the level he is currently at. He would rather compete for more cups than to bleed any more money out this team and hurt their chances.
You all need to get a grip and stop creating such doom and gloom over his future. Are you really all this bored??
He will most likely see at least 18 years as a Hawk and very well may retire playing his entire career here. So please everyone - get over yourselves!!!!!!
