Wait ... what?

I saw my shadow when I walked out of my house this morning ... does that mean we have 6 more weeks of this nonsense?

- EbonyRaptor

No, it meant the sun was out.

Stick to the hockey rumors, science/engineering analogies aren't your strength.

Not trolling - I actually read your content regularly because I think you are one of the better writers on here.

It's actually a brilliant analogy by JJ. Even most scientists cannot adequately explain how electricity actually functions to a light switch, or how instantaneous voice conversations are possible, or how the internet works in real time. The fact is that matter is NOT SOLID (even a granite counter top), it is 99.9999% EMPTY SPACE! We simply take for granted how most things actually work for the convenience of sanity and peace in our own minds. Ever think about what the heart must do every milli second, or what our brain processes (without us even being "aware" of it) in every moment? The subtleties of our muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones to pick up a foot or move a toe even just to take a step? Mind boggling, so we don't think about it and just do it!

Again a brilliant analogy by JJ!

Just wondering what the good info in the past is? Previous knowledge of a trade before it happened....if you could elaborate on that I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance buddy.

So you want JJ to ask the reporter what information the reporter's source gave the reporter in the past that was good?

Is that your contribution today here on Hockey Buzz?

Not now. It seems like the ownership is committed to make it work in Miami. But if attendance doesn't improve in a few seasons, the ownership could change their tune.
- EKolb13

When they built the new rink, I think the idea was they would be building up the area around it. Will not be suprised to see that happen, even if it is a haul from Miami and kind of a strange location.

That only works on February 2nd, and if you're a groundhog.

I asked a serious question to gauge the other reporters credibilty. JJ answered and we did it in a civil manner. Why can't you move on from the past and resort to personal attacks.

I think Florida will be the first team moved to another city. Maybe he's concerned about playing in Quebec City?
- paulr

This seems more plausible to me. The actual attendance in Florida has been brutal in regards to who shows up. Sharp has maybe 2-3 good years left, not sure he wants to "waste" those in south Florida for a team with little support and a meddling ownership. Seems eerily similar to the last place he was traded to at first, eh?

Very curious to see if this gets done.

If its not quebec city then it could be vegas OR seattle, but again....his deal would long be up....unless he's talking extension that he could sign 359 days from now.

He has a great house in Wrigleyville that he could keep for a Summer home and the Arena in Florida is adjacent to Weston which is a very upgrade suburb of Ft Lauderdale with a very good school system and Cleveland Clinic hospital. what's so bad about living there in the Winter only. also I've been to the Arena and love it and the price of tickets is great and also parking is awesome
- Maggie

Ya and they've got jai-lai, greyhound racing, thoroughbred racing, a million golf courses, a big casino and weekly cruises to the Bahamas too.

Any wonder why the owners are suspicious of players who want to go there? Now they probably can't understand a guy who says I want to win first and if you guys aren't committed to it I want out fast.

The only reason that happens is because I bought a Seabs t-shirt jersey 2 years ago. Bought my dad a Ben Smith shirt for xmas, gone in 2 months. Bought myself a Saad jersey at the end of last year.. Gone.

Sorry Guys, my fault.

The "nothing imminent" part is concerning.

As everyone suspects, the longer this drags out, the more bowman will be screwed moving ANYONE.

Everyone knows Hawks have to be cap compliant by a certain day and are hinging so possible contracts in Kruger and Oduya on them doing these.

There is getting a great return, getting an ok return, and getting an absolute dog poop return.

I just fear that Bowman is holding out for a great return too much that it will cost him getting neither a great nor an OK return, on anybody

I was simply seeking clarification. Love your interactions with posters here. Nothing personal about that post at all. Your posts have been civil today and really appreciate your contribution. Definitely top 6.

he is.......and I wouldn't be shocked if Sharp is about to go elsewhere. usually this regime has proven to allow the right color part of an equation out to "sources" but not the right size or shape. I'm guessing this old news.....as in a few days.

Stan may very well be playing NYI vs FLA vs Mont at this point.........2 of his old buddies vs Garth.

Are you sure you know where it is? They are in the town of Sunrise which is growing by leaps and bounds and 5 minutes from Weston which is a awesome town. Sawgrass Mills shopping center is one of the most popular in the country and its walking distance from the arena
