I'm not happy that it's a $7.5 cap hit but that's the going rate. Plus on top of it the Edmonton fan hit on it, with him a pending UFA and the assets that were given up ROR had all the leverage at the negotiation table. If Saad gets $6 million on of the best two way centers in the game with great puck possession numbers and a better ppg per 60 mins is gonna get $7.5.

I don't have to like the deal but I like the fact he is a Sabre for the next 8 years. Ignore the trolls.
