I understand your point, but I would strongly argue it's injuries and his style of play that cause the so called ups and downs.

He has the career grand slam, owns 14 grand slam titles, and absolutely owns the supposed greatest of all time in Federer in head to head meetings. He is a warrior on the court and is a role model for how to compete no matter the score, whether up or down.

He doesn't just have the capability to be the best player on the planet, he has been the best player on the planet multiple times.

He also has a slight winning edge over the only other player that could be in the conversation for best of the last 7 years or so in Nole. Nadal for me is the greatest tennis player ever. He is having a bad season to be sure, however.

I'd love to snag Jake Muzzin from LA. Like his game a lot and he fits age wise.

I remember he looked lost in their last Cup finals. He was paired with Doughty and every single time Muzzin touched the puck something bad happened that Doughty had to make up for. I literally thought Muzzin was single-handedly going to lose them the series at one point, I held my breath every single time he touched the puck anticipating a turnover. He looked nervous and overwhelmed the entire series.

I honestly think he is horrible.

I'm glad....I really don't like Oshie for what we'd have to pay. Call me nuts, I'd rather have Brouwer. That one game with Team USA has elevated him higher than he should be.

This does make me think though that TM has plans to move a significant forward to get a D-man.

Oh I wanted no part of TJ Oshie. He is a one trick pony, literally. Just pointing out Ek's history of accuracy i.e. a guy NEVER goes to a team Ek has him going to.

Solid two way guy, smart guy yadda yadda (standard scouting report for two way defenders from the whl) Not really a game changer but as far as un drafted additions go it's pretty good.

Close to filling up the ranks of a hockeybuzz dynasty league. We are up to 9, looking for at least 1 more member, maybe 3 more, depending on the interest we get.
