Green makes absolutely no sense he's a right shot d man who is not good in his own zone. Sabres have clearly stated numerous times they are looking for LHD not RHD

Allow me to take a hack at this, if you will.
Mike Green is an RD, yes.
But if. IF. He is being pursued, it is the expectation that:
1. Mike Green will play at most 2nd line minutes.
2. Mike Green will play the right side.
3. Mike Green's time to shine will be on the powerplay.
4. Mike Green will be paired with someone much more defensively responsible than himself.
5. One of our RD will switch to LD. If Murray is aware that one of our defenders can seamlessly make this swap then:
