Green makes absolutely no sense he's a right shot d man who is not good in his own zone. Sabres have clearly stated numerous times they are looking for LHD not RHD

IM fine with depleting the prospect pool a bit as I think the roster going into next year will be pretty close to the playoff roster going forward if we made a deal like that. Just think of the lines. The top 6 would be basically set in stone for a few years

They want a pick moving defenseman,I am not saying they don't want a left handed d man,all I know is 100% mIke green is on there list and currently at the top. Obviously if it gets pricey they go to plan b

Maybe a few years ago, but he's a liability in the defensive zone, as he pinches in entirely way too much and leads to odd man rushes far too often. I'm not a fan of his play as one one hand he facilitates the puck well, but on the other his play leads to opposing teams scoring chances. Kind of a catch 22
