Frolik is not worth anything close to what he is going to get in FA. He has never scored more than 45pts.
Ward is too slow for our system.
Gonchar, if we sign the two Russians could be useful in getting the Russians in line, he is important to Malkin could be a huge asset in the locker room. Assuming Scuds is gone, Id be good with Gonchar for 1M

I don't hate Sutter but it's time to move on. Weak on puck battles and that sucks. Good shot and speed on the break away though. That said, GTF out of this town.

I'm afraid at this point the only way they get rid of Scuderi is in a Kessel trade.

I don't get why St Louis isn't being considered. 1 year at 1.5 mil is a great stop gap to hold us over until Kapanen. Is he gonna be great? No. Is it better than trading the farm for Kessel? Probably.
