I honestly did read yesterday that Neely and Chia have a hate-on for each other now and Boston was sure Edm. was going to offer sheet Hamilton. So they traded him to Cal. out of spite. Doesn't sound like a recipe for success in building a team and I would think Neely is smarter than that, but that's what I read.

My answer is: probably - indirectly.

I now do hip exercises every day, after a nasty bout of ITBS a few years ago.

Nothing makes a man feel older than talking about his hip injuries.

Lindros is the only generational talent to enter the NHL since Gretzky and Lemieux. He dominated the league for several years in a way Crosby could only dream of. The only reason his career was cut short was he was the victim of a head shot from one of the biggest cheap shot artists in the history of the NHL. The fact that that player is in the hall of fame and Lindros isn't demonstrates clearly where the NHL stood on head shots before legal forced them to change their message.

As for Housley, he was an outstanding offensive defenseman who was, quite frankly, horrific in his own zone. Coffey had the odd brain fart in his own end too, but he generally recovered in time to correct it. Lindros had more impact on the game than both.

Funny, Stevens barely fought after the instigator, and he head hunted after it as well.... Still an awesome player but he did head hunt and never answered the bell. a few of 'em were charges as well...
