Yeah, if they start to look competitive, they have Babcock's cred there as a coach, the city is going insane in the playoffs and so on, UFAs will be interested. The big markets are double edged swords, when its bad there its a real detractor, if they can get it going in a positive direction the original six, big market factor becomes a draw.

Stuff can still happen over the summer. Some teams won't have done everything they want in UFA and continue to look at options.

Effing crazy stat I saw on draft day: Oilers were in game 7 of finals in '06, and haven't been in playoffs since.
