Franson was previously asking for a 4-4.5 million extension, which was denied, before he was traded from the Leafs. Since then, he was traded to Nashville where he played low minutes and didn't impress. I don't for a second think he will get 6x6, and if by chance he gets close to that, it won't be with the Leafs.

6x6 is too long it's too much and we have guys ready to make the jump. We have guys that need more minutes.
